The Kennedy Companies and Water Works Inc. serve customers throughout the Mid Atlantic region. Our corporate headquarters is located in Mount Laurel New Jersey. The Kennedy Companies has a total of 10 stocking locations. In New Jersey, we have locations in Hillsborough, Clementon, and Totowa. In Eastern Pennsylvania, we have a location in Horsham. In Maryland, we have a location in Hyattsville on the Washington DC border. In Virginia, we have locations in Chantilly, Mechanicsville, and Chesapeake. Finally, in North Carolina we have locations in Raleigh, and Fayetteville. Our offices are open from 7am to 5pm weekdays, and we can be reached at anytime by E-mail.

For over 30 years, The Kennedy Companies have been building relationships with our manufacturers and our customers. Storm water drainage systems are continually subjected to strict regulations. The industry is demanding lower-cost solutions with increased performance and reliability. Hancor's Sure-Lok pipe is designed to provide storm water drainage solutions to meet a wide variety of performance requirements. There are three Sure-Lok products to meet silt-tight, leak resistant and watertight applications. Hancor Sure-Lok high-density polyethylene pipe's gasketed, bell and spigot design ensures superior joint integrity. Its lightweight design allows faster and easier installations. For all of your Woven and Non-Woven Geotextile needs, our company offers a wide range of products. by such manufacaturers as Propex offers a complete line of woven and non-woven geotextiles to improve the performance of highways, unpaved roads, parking lots and storage areas. Your Sales Representative can assist you in selecting the Geotextile that is right for your job. Propex also has a broad spectrum of fabrics specifically designed for drainage applications including three pavement enhancement fabrics for paving and repairs.
We also offer Tensar biaxial structural geogrids for proven performance and cost-effectiveness in ground stabilization. They improve the effective bearing capacity of sub grade by distributing the load over a wider area. Remarkable results can be achieved by using geogrids over soft ground. Undercutting can often be eliminated, and site access is improved in most types of weather. Firm construction platforms can even be built over ground too soft to support a man's weight. We also work closely with North American Green to support civil engineers and contractors a complete line of reliable, cost effective erosion control products. We offer a variety of erosion control blankets for a wide range of applications. From moderate erosion situations to the most severe applications, North American Green products have proven effective. Company Timeline

1973 - Robert A. Kennedy Sr. incorporated Kennedy Culvert & Supply. Mr. Kennedy's background includes over 30 years experience in the heavy highway and construction industries. Mr. Kennedy began Kennedy Culvert & Supply with a relationship that included the Kaiser Aluminum and Chemical Sales' Division of storm drainage products. Mr. Kennedy's philosophy of solid engineering promotion and great customer relations continue today to permeate throughout the company.

Late 1970's - The company continued to increase its lines with the addition of complimentary products such as Kaiser aluminum structural plate arches and aluminum box culverts. A.D.S's corrugated polyethylene, and Armco's aluminized steel pipe and drainage castings. It was during this time the company entered the water distribution market adding Kennedy Valve and Hydrant Company, Griffin Pipe Company, Smith Blair clamps and couplings, Certainteed's asbestos cement pipe, and Dupont's geotextiles to it's existing storm drainage lines.

The 1980's - A tremendous growth period for the company. Over a 5-year period, Kennedy Culvert grew 500 percent, continuing to add new product lines, including the Mueller Company's valve, hydrant and brass lines.

1989 - Kennedy Culvert & Supply Company opened a branch in Horsham, Pennsylania. This expanded Kennedy's customer base to Philadelphia and eastern Pennsylvania.

1990's - Growth and key opportunities continued into the 1990's for Kennedy Culvert & Supply Company as it added an office and warehouse facility in Hillsborough, NJ in 1993, to better serve its ever-expanding customer base.

1995 - Kennedy Culvert & Supply Company acquired a 23-year-old water works business in the state of Virginia called Water Works Supply. With these locations in Mechanicsville and Chantilly, the Kennedy Companies expanded to five offices and eventually changed the name to Water Works Inc.

1997 - The Kennedy Companies opened Water Works Inc. of North Carolina in Raleigh. The Kennedy Companies have made a commitment to building a strong presence in the Mid Atlantic Region of the country.

1999 - In January the Kennedy Companies opened its 7th Water Works Inc. branch in Fayetteville North Carolina.
|
|
2000 - Kennedy Culvert & Supply expanded its New Jersey market by adding a location in Totowa in July of 2000. This has allowed the Kennedy Companies to better serve the northern New Jersey and New York markets.

2001 - Water Works, Inc. expands into the Washington DC, Maryland market with a new location in Hyattsville, MD. This further bridges the gap between our northern and southern locations and our supply chains.

2002 - August. The Kennedy Companies move their corporate offices to the Mount Laurel corporate center. Located in Mount Laurel, NJ -this office supports the Executive, Marketing, Accounting, Purchasing, and Credit departments. The Clementon location remains to be a sales and operations office.

2003 - November. Water Works, Inc. Chesapeake opened. With the addition of Chesapeake, we strengthen the support of our customer base by servicing the Virginia Shores.
2005 - April. The Kennedy Companies acquires BH Runyon in Falls Church Virginia to increase market share in the fabrication of engineered drainage products. BH Runyon's engineered products include retention/detention systems, sediment and pond risers, anti seep collars, trash racks, box culverts, and anti-vortex devices.

| Today, The Kennedy Companies employ more than 150 people in twelve locations throughout five states. Kennedy continues to expand its product lines, add more services, and promote excellent service. The Kennedy Companies continue to look for new opportunities for growth and development. |
